Register now for the first DMU Creative Industries workshop of 2025

De Montfort University's (DMU) Creative Industries programme is returning for 2025, offering a series of exciting workshops for students and recent graduates. The first of five workshops takes place on Thursday 20 February between 11:00AM – 13:00PM and is open to all DMU students, as well as alumni who have graduated in the last two years. Best of all, participation is completely free!

The first session will feature a special guest, James Cusack, presenter of BBC Radio 1 Weekend Breakfast. James will share insights from his career journey and lead a practical podcasting task, giving students hands on experience in the creative industry.

This engaging workshop will take place in The Yard, Hugh Aston building, room 3.05. It's an excellent opportunity to gain practical skills and hear from industry professionals.

Current DMU students and recent graduates can register for a place via My-Gateway

The DMU Made Creative Industries programme will run every Thursday for five weeks, with each session co-facilitated by a special guest from the creative industry.
